An invisible force field that coats the offensive features of a weapon to render it safe. Instructors must own at least 1 practice guard per enrolled student. If an instructor intends to spar with their student, they must also equip a practice guard. If a weapon has multiple forms with separate damage values, such as a sword that can split into a trident from the same hilt, then every form requires its own practice guard.

Stationary Dummy

A simple dummy, these are immobile and insentient. Used to practice on the anatomy of various potential combatants, they assist in building muscle memory and honing knowledge of hit points. Stationary dummies can take any form at the instructor's direction, transforming whenever needed into figures such as a human or a beast. Using a stationary dummy allows students to earn 2 stat upgrades per 3 training threads. Instructors must have at least 150 overall stats and the student must have at least 20 stats in the field they are training in order to use a stationary dummy. Dummies are permanent and do not expire when used. Each dummy may be used by 1 student at a time across all of the instructor's current training threads. While you may set a student against multiple dummies for IC purposes, their perks do not stack.

Veterinarians utilize totems to diagnose ailments. Totems project the horse's symptoms, permitting the veterinarian to feel all symptoms of the horse's malady to help identify its source. For example, an equine could show only the outward signs of agitation and sensitivity, but experiencing their sensations might reveal they are feeling stomach pain and thus assist in identifying the issue, like an ulcer. The veterinarian will perceive the symptoms through phantom anatomy, requiring the human to close their eyes to fully immerse in the illusion, and the totem will last for 1 post. The patient's roleplayer is required to list their horse's symptoms in an OOC note so that the hired veterinarian may accurately write the interaction. 1 item per ailment. The item is removed after its activation and cannot be reused, even if the same ailment needs another totem experience later in its treatment plan or for further examination.
