Hunting Trials
In a hunting trial, horses and riders work together to prove their prowess as they hunt their prey. For the best of the best, horses can be released without their riders to take down prey on their own. Each event will be hosted and judged by both Sabine Aris Oana Ishtar and Amalia Lisette Rylin Marione.
Hunting Trials Types
- The first and most popular type of hunting trial is the single hunting trial. During this event, a single horse and rider will be released into the hunting arena.
- The rider will choose a single creature to be released into the arena. During the hunt, the rider can choose to release a second creature once the first has been defeated.
- There is a minimum requirement of 1 post per character and a maximum limit of 6 posts per character. Once the 12th IC post is made or the rider dismounts the horse, the trial is declared over.
- The rider must be the first character to post.
- Once the rider posts, the horse may not post until after a judge has responded to the thread. The judge's response will indicate the injuries that are sustained during the pursuit of your first creature.

- The second and more difficult type of hunting trial is the solo hunting trial. During this event, a group of horses is released into the hunting arena without their riders.
- Judges will randomly select the creatures that are released in the arena. The number will likely be twice the number of horses.
- There is a minimum requirement of 1 post per character and a maximum limit of 5 posts per character. Once the last IC post is made or a rider withdrawals their horse from the hunt, the trial is declared over.
- Each rider will release their horse at the beginning of the hunt and retrieve them at the end. In the middle of the hunt, riders may post IC reactions but can not instruct their horse.
- Once a horse posts that they have chosen a creature to pursue, all posting must cease until a judge posts injuries for that pursuit. Once injuries are posted, posting order will continue as normal.
- Multiple horses may pursue the same creature, but only the character who delivers the killing blow will receive credit for the kill.
- You must complete one pursuit before beginning another. This stops characters from being able to swoop in and deliver the killing blow if they were not near the creature already.
