Messaging Procedures

Dragons are magnificent creatures, blotting out the suns with their inspiring wingspans and changing seasons with the heat of their breath. Their fledglings, however, serve a humbler purpose. Lining the walls of the Courier, they squawk restlessly as customers bring scrolls to send across the boundless leagues of Alcryst.

Draconic messages cost 3 coins per 10 words. Therefore, a message with 11-20 words would cost 6 coins and a message with 21-30 words would cost 9 coins. They are considered valid IC interaction and are a particularly effective method to affect the IC world without the time and effort of a full roleplay thread.
To contact another human, create a thread here using the label "Message." Include the full message and a link to any current IC thread where the recipient's character is present and outdoors, where the dragon will then deliver your communication. You may include an IC post or submit your message entirely OOC. Lastly, post in Invocation to alert staff, who will post your dispatch in the chosen IC thread.
Only the given recipient will be able to read the message IC; the scroll's ink is invisible to all other eyes. Uninvolved roleplayers may not influence any of their character's behavior based on knowledge gained through reading someone else's message OOC.
