Cryas had visited this place as a child, but never since reaching adulthood. As a youngster, it had been a place of escape; a place of quiet. It always seemed to be calm here, without the pushy, obnoxious crowds of elsewhere in Faewin. It was still a part of the city, but seemed very much not, somehow. Moving past a slightly luminescent tree, Cyras trailed his hand over the trunk with a sort of affection, before moving on and choosing his spot.
Sliding to his knees, he settled himself, quirking his head to the side in something of an avian fashion, as he examined the dirt before his legs. It seemed a bit nonsensical to just pick a point at random and attempt to dig, but it was said that if you followed your feelings here, this place had the potential to gift you with surprises. Well, the young man could certainly do with one of those, right now. His stomach grumbled its agreement. Food would be good. Or even something that he could sell, and then buy food with the money. He honestly wasn't picky.
Taking a breath, he stared at the earth for a moment, before exhaling and beginning to dig. It was a long shot, but it had to be worth a try, right? After all, if it staved off the necessity of theft for a couple of days, it'd be more than worth it.
