Mattrice Tryouts

The Mattrice Tryouts are directly tied to the Domitan Tryouts. Neither will be closed until both have an official victor to be declared simultaneously. Furthermore, the chosen Domitan and Mattrice personalities must align, whether they share similarities or are compatible through their differences. Even if their dispositions would clash, the pair must offer promise and wield vision for the future of their herd, split or united. This can be accomplished by mere chance, through roleplayer alliances (planning, cooperation, and ultimately coordination), or by basing your character off of the corresponding Mattrice applicants without their aid or particular knowledge. Herds can be themed, serve a certain goal or purpose, display severe exclusion or warm inclusion, act as a family or a competition--whatever their bonds and mission, your audition's drive is to simply stand out.

Your character must follow all mandatory Domitan requirements. They must be accepted in Equid Inception prior to auditioning.
You may audition more than one character for the Domitan rank but you may not audition for both the Mattrice and Domitan.
You may audition even if you have another ranked character; the only conflict arises from a Mattrice, Domitan, and/or Omniren played by the same member within one herd.
There is no certain profile needed to qualify for Mattrice; whether your character is violent or pacifistic, deranged or vain, immature or promiscuous, they can stand as the leader if suited to their herd. The determining factor is mainly in your vision for the herd along with your character's personality and the unity of the two. While the joining of Mattrice and Domitan can warp your original intention, your herd proposal now is critical. How will you gain our attention? The only true stipulation to herds is in their size, which is limited to increase desirability. Beyond that, the clan is yours to design.
To audition, fill out the below form and post it within this thread. The tryouts will only be closed when a sufficient Domitan and Mattrice have both been found and there are enough Rogue horses to warrant a new herd. This means there must be at least 20 Rogue horses.
Another element under heavy scrutiny when considering an applicant is the roleplayer themselves. Their activity, maturity level, writing skill, social participation, and overall Alcrystan standing needs to be reasonable and respectable. As they are in charge of recruiting, maintaining, and regulating their herd numbers, their presence on the site is necessary for the herd to thrive.
You may audition no matter your seniority on the site. Whether or not you have money, experience, other characters, or any other influence on Alcryst is inconsequential. Should you be chosen, however, we will wait until we can verify your stability and dependability.
Thievery or mimicry will not be tolerated. While similar themes are to be expected, such as an overall atmosphere of sexism, a goal of murder, a mission to protect foals, etc., the specifics must be unique. If you suspect thievery, please send a PM to an Administrator.
Feel free to edit your audition at any time before the end date, which will be declared once enough Rogues are created. Upon the end date, the audition will be locked so that all entries can be thoroughly read.
The audition form can be altered however you wish so long as all content is present. You can add fields, you simply cannot detract them.
You may post WIPs but any WIP remaining on the end date will be archived and will not be considered.

It is simply an option; utilize it as you will, whether to declare you desire to be Mattrice only with this precise Domitan, indicate some of the Domitans that might be compatible with your Mattrice and why (to ensure you are not disregarded for lack of an interesting partnership), to indicate some of the Domitans that might not be compatible with your Mattrice, and so on and so forth
