Alrighty, I've got myself into a fix over a few things that I simply cannot figure out for myself - perhaps someone can help me.
1) When you create your character, they don't already have to have an occupation, do they? I keep getting confused because in the Compendium, under Weapons, it says that the Member Groups (which I will get to in a moment) is determined based on the occupations your character has. How does one get an occupation prior to making their character?
2) What is all this Member Group stuff about? I really have no idea what it all means. I did the account register but I don't understand the point. What is a member group, why are they given, and why do we have to apply for them?
3) How fast can a humanoid age? For example, I'm considering creating a character who is just under the 'young adult' age - so maybe in her 30's. If I made her at age 38, for example, how long would I need to wait until I could put her at 40? I was curious just because I am considering the experience of playing her as both a minor and a legal adult.
4) Do all horses start out as rogues? Or can some be born into a herd?
5) Why does the quality of the spear you get in your profile under your Occupations matter - basically, why does having more occupations mean you get a nicer spear in your profile? And if I'm reading correctly, the spear in your profile is something my character can actually use - so the nicer the spear, the more powerful they are in battle, when equipping it at least?

thanks!! Just an idea to get people excited about art...maybe give inspiration for characters or something. Just trying to initiate general excitement, hehe!
