Plantlife hummed about him with vivacious energy, particles of luminous pollen escaping into the wind to speckle reality with touches of dreams. The gentle river slicing through the heart of Kaleidoasis, framed by stone, sang forth quiet notes akin to a rident harp's string, its babbling a melody calming his nerves. There was little to fear in the garden so long as you kept your step light and presence unthreatening. The vegetation of the angelic garden was more domesticated than your average wilderness, so accustomed to the footfalls of humans that they remained dormant and even friendly if you respected them. Peace, for Talen, was the only weapon needed.
Stepping toward the heavy boughs of an ancient tree, he slid slowly to a single knee, a silent vow of fealty in the bow of his neck and the relaxation of his forearm across his knee. Everyone had their gods and where they chose to see these gods manifest often depended on the eyes themselves. Closing his, he inhaled deeply, beseeching the proud nature to grant him a small gift.
